What happens at the assessment visit

The assessment visit is longer on listening than on procedures. You should leave knowing what was already answered and what the next test is for.

The history Both partners are asked about cycles, pregnancies, operations, medicines, and how long you have been trying. A semen analysis and a hormone panel are the tests most often already in the folder. If they are missing or old, they are repeated before a treatment is named.

What is not decided that day A start date for stimulation is rarely fixed in the first hour, because the dose depends on reserve tests and on the calendar you can actually attend. Cost is outlined once the plan exists. A number given before the tests is only a range, and often not a useful one.

After you leave Coordination books the tests or the next review. Nursing is involved when a cycle is actually scheduled. The laboratory is not part of this first conversation unless egg collection is already the agreed path.
