A low egg-reserve test or a poor response in a previous cycle. The number is a planning tool, not a verdict.
Ovarian reserve tests, including AMH and an antral follicle count, estimate how the ovaries may respond to stimulation. They do not measure the chance of a natural pregnancy with a single number, and they do not say that pregnancy is impossible.
How the result is used
The physician reads the test with age, cycle history, and any previous stimulation. A low result may mean a different dose, an earlier conversation about IVF, or a discussion of egg freezing if you are not trying immediately.
What to bring
The laboratory report itself, not only a screenshot of the word low. Units and the lab name matter when results are compared.
